Master stoneworkers
Around 6000 years ago, human groups living on the coast of Chile’s Far North region were already expert stoneworkers. Their great skill enabled them to obtain incredibly thin slices of silica from a single shard, which produced very sharp knives. However, their edges bear no evidence of usage. Why did these fishermen manufacture tools they never used?.
